Welcome to The Foul Rag and Bone Shop of the Heart...

Just got back from Greenwich and Docklands festival – our fourth outing for Bone Yard Tales so far. In summary – extreme luck with the weather, Old Royal Navy College backdrop, King Charles Lawn, beached whale, amazing smells from Greenwich Market, Premier Inn thumbs up, small pub meals thumbs down, new hire van practically loads & unloads itself, crinkly dried leaf confetti substitute result, new costume for Rag fits first time, lovely appreciative crowds, pints by the Thames, jobs a good un.

We’re in the midst of creating our new show, the Without Walls comission Bone Yard Tales – here’s a sneaky peak into the chaos of the build. In order to create the ‘Bone Yard’ we’ve had to indulge all our latent scrap collecting, hoarding and scavenging tendencies, and let loose our inner Wombles. Here’s the evidence…

Welcome to the shiny new website for Rag and Bone. Well, actually, like us it’s not so shiny and new at all – I’m sure you’ll find plenty of agreeably worn and threadbare items here…

Our new show, Bone Yard Tales is currently being hammered into shape. A Without Walls commission Bone Yard Tales revels in the delight of transformation. The show setting is the Boneyard, a world that could be a scrap heap, or a graveyard, or your back yard: Somewhere or Nowhere, a place constantly changing and growing.

Boneyard Tales starts a spring/summer tour of the UK in May. We’ll be posting times, dates and locations up here very soon….

We’ll also be posting updates, information, news, photos, videos, sounds, (and, if we can get the new Boneyard plugin working, some authentic Rag n Bone smells) here as irregularily as we can.
