Rag and Bone breathe new life into outdoor performance and processional traditions;digging up, cobbling together and inventing ways of celebrating who we are and where we are. We transform piles of rubbish and detritus into dream machines, summon beasts from the landscape and awaken giants from their slumber. We are inspired by the mysteries of improvisation and the glories of noise; by the richness of folklore and mythology; by the landscape and hidden histories around us; and by traditions of festivities and fairs, street music and carnivals from around the world. We create outdoor shows, processions, special events and celebrations on any scale. We also work with the band Tongues of Fire and the landscape performance group Leviathan Whispers. |
