The Beast

*Please Note: The Beast is a past project, it was taken with a bad case of RustJaw and DampWing, sadly, we had to call the knackers in and have The Beast taken off to the Great Boneyard in the Sky…

‘are you hiding one in your back yard?’

The Beast is a 14ft/4.2m high mobile mechanical puppet an animated head on a counterbalanced boom, mounted on a mobile 3-wheeled chassis. Our Beast is a mobile walkabout for urban spaces and festival sites, highly interactive with audience and space, suitable for all ages, day and night, self-contained and battery powered.

The Beast is particularly suitable for parades & processions, & has an array of possible actions: from opening and closing eyes to squirting water or CO2 from it’s mouth & nose (depending on the time of year), from roaring at the sky to gentle nuzzling at ground level, from chomping at foes to grazing from dustbins.

We can expand the Beast into a larger show for Festivals, openings and finales, with the addition of extra props and contraptions, performers, pyrotechnics and live musicians. Contact us for further information.
